Let’s be honest, I don’t have time to wash my hair everyday. Most will argue to say it really isn’t good for your hair anyway to wash it too much.
So how do we survive in between? Dry shampoos of course. Most are same idea of powders or sprays in order to soak up the oils on your scalp.
I will admit it’s been a product addiction of mine, and I can say I still haven’t found “the one”.
Here are some of have tried and my review of them, including the one that is my go to brand.
Herbal Essence – I Love raiding target in the states especially the travel section, so I decided to try this one. I didn’t like this one and it was mostly the scent that got me.
Living Proof – I read many reviews on this product, and I have to say it wasn’t for me. It’s definitely too strong of a scent and I can’t say it worked any better than a cheaper dry shampoo. Thankfully I only test a travel size.
Lush – “No Drought” dry shampoo. Since this product is a powder the application can be a bit messy. I do, however, like this one when my hair is extra sweaty, and I also like it’s light and fresh scent.
Oribe Texturizing Spray – While many beauty magazines rate this as the #1 dry shampoo, I have to say I don’t use it as such. It is one of my favourite hair products for giving volume and texture to my hair. I love the scent too. I find it is a touch too tacky of a texture to be used as a dry shampoo, but this product is definitely a fave otherwise. A great product if you need to give your hair some oomph.
Dove Dry Shampoo – No matter what brand I try I always ended up going back to this one. At $5 a pop you can’t beat the price. I also don’t find that it leaves any white residue on my dark hair. I do really like the scent, it’s not too heavy of a scent and does the job as far as a dry shampoo goes.
